i have a warrant in missouri on serious offense but college starts in about 28 days?
i don't want this to interfere with my school so my plan is to finish school for this year and then turn my self in on the summer, also i am 16 do i go to jail or some other place and is it better for your case if you turn your self in than get caught?

Answer 1 :
You should be asking your parents and your lawyer how to proceede here.
Answer 2 :
Well, first of all, you didn't mention whether or not you actually live in Missouri. Second, you didn't mention the actual charge. It's a bit difficult to give you details without this information. Generally speaking, the courts do not want to take a minor out of school. If your charge is a misdemeanor or a low-level felony, you probably won't need to worry about incarceration. And, if the judge decides that jail is the right option for you, you won't go to an adult jail - there are facilities for minors in every state. You should NEVER "turn yourself in". Call a lawyer and have him/her negotiate your surrender. It sounds like you haven't actually been convicted of a crime yet (you mentioned getting "caught"). If this is the case, I suggest that you call a lawyer today!

Are veterans college scholarships taxable In Missouri

Are veterans college scholarships taxable In Missouri?
My husband was a college student for the last two years, received enough money just to pay for supplies i.e. books, paper, gasoline, etc. How would he find out if it is taxable here in missouri? No...I know the difference between veteran's benefits and veteran's scholarships. I'm talking about scholarships....

Answer 1 :
Try this one................ http://dor.mo.gov/
Answer 2 :
VA education benefits are not taxable in MO, including the monthly living stipend component. Other scholarships and grants (for anyone, not just vets) are not taxable as long as the money was used for qualified tuition & fees. MO follows federal law on the taxation of scholarships and grants.
Answer 3 :
I tnink you mean veteran's benefits - not scholarships. No, they are not taxable income.
