UMSL (University of Missouri St. Louis) is okay. University of Missouri Columbia is really good! it is a major party school though, but they are known for their journalism and business school there. Those are pretty much the cheapest ones that I know of. St. Louis is huge on private universities and most of them cost around 20 grand.. so yeah! you might want to look into those two state schools. Columbia is a much nicer campus than UMSL I would say, but keep in mind lots of partying!
Answer 2 :
well are you wanting a college or university? private one? what program are you interested in? those factors make a difference as well

Anyone heard about Westminster College in Missouri

Anyone heard about Westminster College in Missouri?
I got a letter from them today giving me information about enrollment. I suppose they heard about me through school, but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about them. The website isn't very informative.

Can a person receive unemployment benefits while being paid to work at college through federal work study

Can a person receive unemployment benefits while being paid to work at college through federal work study?
I have a friend (yes, a friend) who is a student at a college in Missouri. He works 20 hours a week, and his paychecks come from federal work study funds. Should he be able to receive unemployment benefits at the same time?

I don't know where to go for college! Missouri State University or University of Arizona

I don't know where to go for college! Missouri State University or University of Arizona? Any opinions? ?
Going to Missouri State means: *I could live closer to my home state *BUT usually everyone that goes there is from Missouri and small towns, and I want a more variety *the education is free cuz i got full scholarships and that means i could save up and go to a great grad school for health care *BUT i heard Missouri State is not really credible UofArizona: *is a GREAT campus i really like it *people from all over go there which is good *BUT it is a party school *However the education could be better than Missouri State i don't really know *Going there will cost about $20,000 a year cuz i got some scholarships there *BUT its so far away and different setting and climate and all that i like the idea of going to both ... don't know ... any opinions to help choose one?

If it was me, I would go to Arizona. The whole college experience is meeting new people and trying different things. Living in that setting might not be all that bad but you never know unless you tried. If you are unhappy, you could always transfer. Good luck.
