Anyone here go to Stephens college in Missouri

Anyone here go to Stephens college in Missouri?
It's a women's college. They let you keep a cat in your dorm. I really wanna go there...What's it like?

No, but I work for the other women's college in Missouri and we are sister schools. I believe you will find that a woman's college will challenge you academically, encourage your leadership skills, and help you make more friends than you ever thought possible. As for the pets in the dorm, I don't know of any college that allows that because of allergies and health problems. I know some resident directors may have pets (namely dogs because there are fewer allergies to dogs than cats), but can't speak to the situation at Stephens. BTW, Stephens is in a great town (I've done PhD work at Mizzou). Columbia has a little bit of everything and is a terrific college town. If you are interested in attending women's colleges, I will give a link to mine. We offer every student a paid trip to Europe, have a five star chef, and are a great place to start your education (we are a two year school and a lot of students transfer to Stephens). Our scholarships can't be beat and we are very affordable as well. Still, Stephens is a great school - you will enjoy it. Good luck.

Is Oklahoma playing Missouri next week in college football

Is Oklahoma playing Missouri next week in college football?
I just wanted to know because I'm a Sooners fan and I know about the 3 way tie between them and Texas and Texas Tech.. so please answer this

Yes, they are playing for the big 12 championship.
Answer 2 :
It depends on who is ranked higher in the BCS when the standings are released this afternoon. Whoever is ranked higher between Texas and OU should represent the Big 12 South in the championship game.

BCS rankings aren't out until tonight but im guessing OU is a shoe in for both the NC game in miami and the Big 12 game. They are a more solid team this year and even though my Horns beat them. Good luck with FL cause they are a monster team this year! Hookem Horns!!!

Yes, more than likely. texas made up some ground in the USA Today polls, but I stiil think OU will jump ahead of them in the BCS polls.

Can a person transfer for example to a community college in Missouri to a 4 year university in Illinois?

Answer 1 :
Yes, Anyone can transfer to anywhere they want, provided that they can pass the entrance exams or applications. You need to know that when you transfer, you may lose some credits from courses you've already taken. This is for two reasons. 1) The new college/university does not recognize the class as creditable, or 2) you're going from one type of classes to another (3 terms per year to 2 semesters per year, for example.)

Contact the school, fill out an application and apply. People do it all the time! They will probably look at your grades, GPA, ask for personal references, and maybe have you write out a self reference. Go for it!

If your grades are good enough, you can transfer anywhere.

What can visiting college students do for fun at night in Kansas City Missouri

What can visiting college students do for fun at night in Kansas City Missouri? ?
Im going to Kansas City MO with a group of 8 students for a college newspaper convention at the Marriott Downtown Kansas City from Oct. 29-31. What can we do for fun when we're done with the day's convention stuff. (5 p.m.- ) Are all the bars 21-and-up? Only about half of us are 21.

Pretty much all of the traditional bars will be 21+. However there are a handful of restaurants/bars where they should be able to get in at. Check out some of the places on the Plaza (Tom Fooleries is a good time) as well as the Power & Light district. The Westport area also has some good nightlife as well. http://www.powerandlightdistrict.com/ Since you're there during the Halloween time frame, can I suggest checking out some of the Haunted Houses downtown? I've been to a handful of them and frankly, some of the ones in KC has scared the crap outta me. Check out The Beast or The Edge Of Hell. You'd likely have to wait in line, but it's totally worth it. yes about the bars, there are also haunted houses, and one of the best things to do is Worlds Of Fun. Roller Coasters, water rides, the works.

there are some great haunted houses and worlds of fun does a halloween thing too. you have to be 21 to drink in the bars but not to go in most will let you in but your drinking coke
