I am either going to Southeast Missouri State University or Truman State. I will be majoring in English Literature, and minoring in German. I just don't know which one to decide on. Truman is small, and SEMO is bigger, but not huge. I'm just curious to see what people think of the colleges.

Check out unigo.com... it's a website that has reviews of colleges from kids that go there. The reviews are honest and helped me to make my final college decision. Good luck!

I'm the Regional Admissions Coordinator-Chicago for Truman State University and my greatest piece of advice for helping you figure out which school would be a better choice for you is to visit each school if you haven't already. While I cannot speak to what goes on at SEMO, at Truman State University you and your family will sit down and have all your questions answered with an Admissions Counselor, take a student led tour of campus which allows you to speak with a current student, and visit with professors or sit in on a class if you'd like. I recommend visiting any college campus that you are interested in to see how you are treated and to see what your gut reaction is to the school. Your gut reaction, whether it feels right, how you are treated, if you feel like a person instead of a number...these are all important factors when picking a college and can only be felt by visiting a campus. Also, please remember to contact each school so that they know you are interested and can send you the pertinent information related towards scholarships, applications, and your interests.
